Salty Seniors
Salty Seniors is to help encourage "Seniors" and those with Flexible Time (of ‘an age’) who call SALT church home.
Our goal is to further and develop existing friendships within the Salt Community and to support one another as we grow in the Lord. It is hoped that meeting in this way we will be even more encouraged to invite others for a meal, go for an outing together, movies, etc. It is also a great forum to invite and to welcome any newcomers to SALT.
Meeting times
You can see the dates and locations for our regular, 2024 coffee mornings below. We get together and have a cuppa and chat on the first Thursday of every month at 10 am. However, from time to time we may also plan to have outing together to the movies, picnics, whatever, etc,
Meeting locations
This will vary from month to month and each event advertised here on the SALT website a few months ahead. A reminder announcement will be given in church a week or so before each event. However, this SALT website will be the primary source of information on Salty Seniors events.

Sea Acres Cafe near Shelly Beach Port Macquarie... morning tea at 10 AM and possible group walk around the boardwalk at about 1130.
June 6
Bonny Beach Café above the Bonny Hills Surf Life Saving Club. Morning tea at 10 AM followed by the option of a Beach walk/Swim after.
July 4
Bring your own morning tea to the Lookout at the top of North Brother at 10 AM …possible short walk around the top approx. 1.5 km
August 1
Roto House & Koala Hospital in Port Macquarie… 10 AM morning tea … Option of a visit to the Koala Hospital after.
September 5
Bonny Hills Nursery Café … 10 AM morning tea… and the inevitable purchase of new Spring plants.
October 3
Excursion to Harrington – most likely the Irish pub for morning tea at 10 AM
October 15-17
FIEC Seniors’ Conference - at the Rydges Port Macquarie – individual Registration, as desired.
