As a church community, we are blessed by the many people who volunteer to help make everything come together. The church also employs two part time Pastoral Staff who co-ordinate our ministry and serve God by serving the many people who make up our church. Below is a short introduction to our Pastoral Staff. If you would like to make contact with them, please send an email by clicking HERE.

Dave McDonald — Pastor
Dave and Fiona love being part of the Bonny Hills community. They have family nearby in Port Macquarie and further south in Sydney and Canberra. After nearly 30 years in Canberra, they are soaking up the warmth and beautiful beaches. More importantly, they are loving leading people at Salt, and they want more and more people to know the great news of who Jesus is and what he has done. Dave blogs at macarisms.com.

Marty Dures - Pastoral Worker
Marty and his late wife Venessa were one of the original Salt Church families. They moved to Bonny Hills with their three teenage kids in 2009. Together with 4 other nearby families, Salt was born due to the need for a local church whose heartbeat was to connect with the local community. Marty’s desire in the role of “Welcoming and Belonging’ is to help facilitate a vibrant sense of Jesus-loving people at a church that is relational, relevant, and reverent. He loves connecting with people in the water surfing or anywhere on dry land,
