Salty Seniors


Salty Seniors is to help encourage "Seniors" and those with Flexible Time (of ‘an age’) who call SALT church home.

Our goal is to further and develop existing friendships within the Salt Community and to support one another as we grow in the Lord. It is hoped that meeting in this way we will be even more encouraged to invite others for a meal, go for an outing together, movies, etc. It is also a great forum to invite and to welcome any newcomers to SALT.

Next Phase 2026

Next Phase is a conference for anyone 50ish and over. This is a broad group of people who will go through many ‘next phases’ (kids growing up and leaving home, grandkids arriving, work changes, ageing etc) and we want to encourage you to keep going strong in your faith as some of the other things in life change. 

At Next Phase you can expect:

    • High quality bible teaching with guest speakers Sam McGeown and Stephen McAlpine
    • Seminars that help us live out our faith
    • Great fellowship
    • Encouraging testimonies
    • 2 – 6 meals (depending on your ticket)

May 15th & 16th @ St Peter’s Cathedral, Armidale

Registration opens Saturday, February 7th

Meeting times

We will meet for morning tea at 10 am on the first Thursday of every month, except for in December which will be luncheon and meeting at 11.30 am


You can see the dates and locations for our regular 2025 coffee mornings below. 


Meeting locations

This will vary from month to month and each event advertised here on the SALT website a few months ahead. A reminder announcement will be given in church a week or so before each event. However, this SALT website will be the primary source of information on Salty Seniors events.
