At Salt Camp 2026 we began by asking a confronting question:
Who really holds authority over our lives?
In Luke 20:1–19, the religious leaders challenge Jesus’ authority. But through a series of questions and a powerful parable, Jesus reveals something far greater – the authority they question belongs to the Son sent by the Father.
This passage shows us a God who sends:
He sent the prophets.
He sent His beloved Son.
And even after rejection, His purposes continue to move forward.
But the parable also confronts us personally. It exposes the subtle ways we resist God’s authority and invites us to respond not with resistance, but with repentance and trust.
The God who sent His Son is still sending today.
